What is OSUF? Hawaii’s Ocean Stewardship User Fee

We’re proud to be recognized as a participating business in the Aloha i ke Kai Ocean Stewardship User Fee (OSUF) program. When you purchase a ticket with MANA Cruises, you may notice a ‘OSUF’ fee that goes directly toward the stewardship and protection of Hawaii’s marine resources.

This fee, collected by commercial ocean operators like us, helps fund important conservation efforts across the islands—supporting reef restoration, community stewardship programs, coastal water quality improvements, marine education, and more. The funds are managed by the State of Hawaii’s Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) and are intended to help preserve the ocean for future generations.
