Fishing Report

We started spring off with a bang! Beautiful Yellow Fin Tuna on the table for the family. Ending a midday snorkel this guy decided to gobble up a 9 inch skirted hawaiian speed lure.

Epic ono crushed the short corner chrome head on the way to our first marker. What a great fight, beautiful morning, and epic catch. Congratulations and we like the no smile style! Aloha and mahalo!

What a beautiful blue fin trevally also known as an ‘Omilu. Great catch and great fight. Glad we were able to release this guy – full grown these hard fighters can grow to 25+ lbs. Let’s go summer! Hoping for more – congrats!

It was a fun week of fishing. This picture hits perfectly to the many aku that we’ve been boarding. It was a beautiful morning and we ended up just a bit further offshore than usual and were stoked to pickup a couple nice aku all before 9a. Cheeehu!

Beautiful morning to be on the water. Took a couple weak knock downs and finally stuck this nice Kawakawa! We headed in for some bottom fishing and took immediate hits with the two, perfect sized table setters for the end of a fun morning!

A handful of bites trolling on our afternoon snorkel charter! After a few lost “screamers” we were able to haul in this guy that stuck to the hook. A nice looking Hawaiian Barracuda (Kaku)! It was a fun fight and epic afternoon of snorkeling and water time.

Epic morning for everything under the sun. Caught a nice Aku Tuna on light tackle, handled a beautiful set of triggers including this Red Tail and enjoyed calm clear waters snorkeling. Fantastic morning with a fantastic ‘ohana.

A little drizzly morning produced some fun fishing for the keiki! Started off with a small tuna followed by a nice fighting Rainbow Runner also known as a Kamanu! Coincidentally the rain produced some epic rainbows above us as well. Fun morning for all!

Another epic morning in Ko Olina 🙂 Very rarely can we come-thru on the exact species request in just a couple of hours but Cpt Garrett put this guest on their Bucket List Mahi Mahi fight within the first hour! Perfect sized for mahi sandwiches and panko sticks! Congrats gents!

Less than a minute with lures in the water we took a beautiful 15# cow Mahi. Great fight with a bunch of jumping. Great job Greg for keeping the line tight all the way to gaff. Glad you had a stoked time with Captain Jesse!

Some great conditions allow us to hit all the currents Top and Bottom. Closeups of these fish remind us of the beauty below. The Rainbow Runner was caught on a plastic soft bait. The Weke took a new rig at the bottom of a deep 30 fathom drop.

The calm winds and nice currents provided the perfect morning for some great hunting! The GT came in at 27# and was a fantastic 15 minute fight to stay off the bottom. It was released back to the bottom after a few pics and a weigh-in. The Jobfish came in at 8.25# and was enjoyed…

Epic morning with Jameson and siblings! The bite was slow on trolling so we broke down and started a nice bottom drift over some rubble in the 120 ft range.
